PC-INFOGAME.COM: Using virtual drives


The virtual readers are in fact meretricious readers. With them, it is possible to read files pictures, that is to say of copies of games for example. Clone CD and Daemon Tool is two tools which allow to use the virtual readers.



With Clone CD

You can download Clone CD thanks to following link: CloneCD.

Indeed, Clone CD includes a tool (Virtual Clone Drive) which manages the virtual readers.

Throw software. Make a right click on the small icon of software, down right of screen, and choose ' Virtual Clone Drive '.

Point out the number of virtual readers whom you wish.

In Workstation, having made a right click on a virtual reader and choose ' Virtual Clone Drive ' then 'Go up '. Search the file then picture (*.iso, *.ccd) corresponding to desired game.

Then, everything works as though the CD of game was in the reader CD-ROM.



With Daemon Tool

You can download Daemon Tool thanks to following link: Daemon Tool.

Throw software. Make a right click on the small icon of software, down right of screen, and choose 'VIRTUAL CD / DVD-ROM->'.

With 'Jeu number of devices' you determine the number of available virtual readers.

Once virtual readers were defined, in 'VIRTUAL CD / DVD-ROM->', click on 'Device x [there] No Media' then on ' Mount Image ' to choose a file picture.

Daemon Tool - Virtual Reader

'Unmount all drives' allows to delay in zero the contents of every virtual reader.

Then, everything works as though the CD of game was in the reader CD-ROM.
