Windows Medium Player is an audio and video reader given with Windows. It is a practical tool to listen to musics and to view videos but also to accomplish the music copy of a CD towards its computer.

Format and quality of the converted tracks

Throw the reader Windows Media Player (Start / All Programmes / Accessories / Entertainment / Reader Windows Medium).


Go to 'Tools / Options' to change some parametres.


In the tab 'Extract music', choose the site at first, with 'Modifier ', where will be extracted musics.


Then, it is necessary to choose the format of output. Format ' mp3 ' is the most using because it reduces strongly the size of musics with not enough loss. Point out then the quality of the sound. The more this one is high, the more quality is good but more the size of the file augments.

Convert the CD

Insert your CD in the reader. Click then on 'Extraire '.


Check musics which you want to extract then click on 'Extracting music' to throw conversion.


Once conversion was ended, you will find musics in the file which you pointed out before in options.
